•    Outstanding example, one of 559 ever made, has covered just 1,800 miles from new making it one of the lowest mileage RHD Superamerica available right now

•    Ingenious Revochromico rotating hardtop opens in seven seconds and makes this Ferrari useable no matter what the conditions

•    Bell Sport & Classic’s car also comes with the F1 paddleshift gearbox and the desirable HGTC Pack

•    Finished in Rosso Corsa over Beige leather it is currently for sale at Bell Sport & Classic’s dedicated showroom in Hertfordshire

2nd July 2020 The Ferrari 575 Superamerica is without doubt the most desirable iteration of the 575M Maranello, fixing the issues of the 550 Barchetta’s temporary soft top with an ingenious rotating hardtop – and one of the lowest mileage RHD Superamerica available in the world right now is on sale at Bell Sport & Classic.

Having covered just 1,800-miles since 2006, this Superamerica is an outstanding example, and apart from its low mileage, its pièce de résistance is indeed its innovative roof – known as Revochromico. Made from carbon fibre and electrochromatic glass, it was the first of its kind to be fitted to a production car. With the roof closed, the driver can select from five opacity settings, from fully transparent to allowing just one percent of light to enter the cabin. To open, a simple button press rotates the roof through 180 degrees, which then sits flush on the rear deck.

The Superamerica name is derived from the iconic Ferrari 400 and 410 Superamericas built from 1956 to 1964. The 575 Superamerica has a 540PS version of the 575M’s 515PS 5.7-litre V12 – and with a top speed of 199mph, allowed Ferrari to claim it was world’s fastest convertible at the time.

Delivered on the January 1st 2006 by Graypaul Ferrari Nottingham, this particular model comes with a fully documented service history – all carried out by the supplying dealer each year from new – and is painted in the iconic Rosso Corsa over Beige leather with contrast stitching.

Transmission is the lightning fast six-speed F1 semi-automatic gearbox, while the car also has the desirable Handling Gran Turismo Competizione (HGTC) pack offering a sportier suspension set up. It also comes with sports exhausts and red brake calipers matched to Carbon Composite Material (CCM) brake discs for ultimate stopping power.

Tim Kearns, Managing Director of Bell Sport and Classic, said: “We are very pleased to offer for sale this exceptional Ferrari 575 Superamerica, what must be the lowest mileage right-hand-drive example available in the world right now. It has been meticulously looked after by the original owner since it was delivered back in 2006 and is the perfect example to add to any collection.”
