The original GR Super Sport concept, on the other hand, utilized a twin-turbo 2.4-liter V6 hybrid powertrain producing a combined output of 986 horsepower. To comply with road regulations, the design of the street-legal Toyota GR Super Sport will need to be toned down since the concept doesn’t even have a rear window.

After the hypercar’s competition debut, customer deliveries for the road-going Toyota GR Super Sport are expected to start in 2022, but it’s unknown how many units Toyota will produce. Each example is expected to cost around €2.4 million ($2.8 million).
